When you go to Beaver Creek, Be sure to go to Larkspur. I love this run, it is fast and ther eare several nuls on the way down that you can catch some air on. Centenniel is also a fast and fun run. Also go to Rosebowl. These are all local favorites.

Groomed runs are not for the faint of heart anymore. Most people when they picture skiing or snowboarding they picture fresh wonderful powder. Some on the other hand are all about the groomers. Vail has received 42 inches of snow in the last 7 days. Not mention another 10 inches last night. This makes the back bowls of Vail, a heaven on earth. One of my favorite things about a powder day is the calm look of the collected snow. Most often we see snow that has been cut up like a roast beef sandwich. But when you get first tracks the snow looks more like a buttery biscuit that your grandmother baked. There is nothing better than rocking out to some music and churning dough for butter biscuits.
